Don't let the name fool you, this beer might look bitter, but is quite nice. With a balanced alcohol and hop character, this English lion comes off toasty and fruity. For authenticity, this beer was created after a trip to England by our Brewmaster Ray and Vance Hinton.

Historically the Saison beers were created to quench agricultural workers returning from the fields, very dry and light beers. Were disseminated in Wallonia at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, and were considered true "daily beers", produced in a very rustic, not to be sold but for own consumption. In the past, we have witnessed the flourishing of this global style (in the United States there are several Breweries produce beers of this type only), the Season has become gradually more and more alcoholic, laden with spices or ultra Hoppy. What has been lost sight of it was the origin of the Saison, why were invented and produced for centuries: their nature invigorating and refreshing. In memory of those I created the Violent Femme: a beer to drink with the body rather than the mind. Does not lend the side complicated ruminations or daring intellectual conjectures, is pure pleasure: charm, beauty and joie de vivre. Remember that summer, when I come home after a long day of work and the Sun is not yet set, often I allow myself a drink on the balcony while I watch the hills and the sky turns pink, red and orange in the hour of dusk. She is always with me in those moments: the violent woman that I tore my heart.

The Virginia Common is a deep brown-colored hybrid ale-lager. We use Cluster hops, one of the only commonly available hop varieties with North American roots, which impart a light hop aroma. It has a lower ABV than our other beers, and a mid-level carbonation. It is light-bodied, which allows for the toast of the specialty malts to shine. A sessionable ale-lager hybrid that will satisfy almost any beer drinker.

This is our Belgian style tripel with rosehips and rye.

Rye ale brewed with agave nectar and aged on habanero peppers. Brewed with rye malts that bring their own natural spice, this invigorating cerveza gets its zesty kick and peppery flavor from habanero peppers that we add after fermentation. Agave nectar, produced in Mexico, helps to sweeten and lighten the body, while our Belgian house yeast strain tempers the beer’s fiery disposition.

Indiana Brewers' Cup Gold Metal Winner Vivian, meaning “alive”, was at its peak popularity in 1920. Like the bearcats of the same time period, vivacious is how we would describe this Red IPA that will change the way you think about red beers. Vivian Red IPA will take you back to a time when everyone wore fashionable hats, three piece suites and snappy dresses - just to sit around the house and enjoy each other’s company. Like a “choice bit of calico”, our lively amount of Northwest hops and malt profile will have you coming back for more. Turn on the music, sit back and relax or have yourself a humdinger with Scarlet Lane Brewing Company’s Vivian Red IPA.

The VIÆMILIA was the first beer that I created, regarded by many as our flag maybe because it is also the most award-winning kellerpils in the world. Though it seems a simple "Lager", his work is perhaps the most delicate and long: changes nearly five weeks in the basement: a week for primary fermentation and ripening over three weeks at 3° C (cold lagering or maturation) during which a series of reactions occur that allow the young beer to be refined. In this time we add precious hop that flowers every year, to the first days of September, Let's select directly from the farmers of Tettnang (a small town in southern Germany renowned for the extraordinary quality of its aroma from hops). It is thanks to this practice (called dry-hopping) which VIÆMILIA expresses his floral and herbaceous scents. The name was an idea of Manuel that proved prescient. This beer is dedicated to our Earth, burdened by thick fogs in winter and parched by the Sun in the merciless summer noonS, the bolognese poet's verses helped me to describe the image of a languid day in June.

Voo Ka Ray (aka Vieux Carre’) IPA is a beautifully balanced yet Hop-centric Imperial IPA that avoids the extra bitterness found in many IPAs with similar hop levels & IBUs through the use of “Late Hopping”, which allows for the flavor and aroma of the hops to be prevalent without the extra bitterness found when using large amounts of hops. This allows the full bodied malt profile to perfectly balance the hops, which is not something found in your typical IPA.

American-style pale ale with layers of intense flavors. Generously hopped, this brew draws on pale malt and flaked wheat to provide the perfect balance between aroma and malt character.

This one is black and sweet! Its malty character is derived from two carmel malts along with Munich malt to create the smoothest high gravity beer this side of the pond.

Handcrafted beer from heart of Estonia. This rich in flavour beer is a true gem for beer lovers. In order to truly appreciate the essence of this beer follow instructions: - Be gentle with beer, don't shake and alway keep it up - Always drink from the glass, not from the bottle - When pouring into the glass make sure there remains 1-2cm layer of foam on top - The best temperature for beer is 6-8C - Because the beer is alive there might remain some sediment, don't pour it into glass

Brewed with the finest two-row malted barley, caramel malts and Cascade hops, this true American Pale Ale carries a hearty hop aroma and a rich sparkling hop flavor.

Take a break from the Sturm und Drang of modern life, with this elegant, refreshing pilsner. Our brewers created Vunderbar! with both feet grounded in tradition, focusing on authentic German pilsner malt and spicy Czech Saaz hops. The result just might get you to shimmy into your favorite lederhosen, bust into a quick schuhplattler and loudly proclaim, “Das ist Vunderbar!”

Our lightest beer, the beer appears yellow with a slight cloudiness and is topped by a rich white head. The Wag's Wheat has a bread like flavor from the malted wheat, backed by citrus undertones. Our interpretation of the American Wheat beer style is light and very refreshing to drink. For additional refreshment try adding a slice of lime or lemon to the beer.

All kinds of people made the wagon trip into the Wild West: bankers from Boston, carpenters from Ohio, even brewers from Bavaria. After fording rivers and not dying of cholera or exhaustion, these brave folks would have enjoyed a tasty beer at the end of the trail. Fermented with lager yeast at higher ale temperatures, this beer is an homage to an American beer style that emerged during the California Gold Rush. Its firm, grainy maltiness and hoppy aromas of tangerine, apricot and citrus will make you want to party like it’s 1849.

Wai Meli is a harmonic symphony of flavor, with notes of honey and a bubbly feel. We make it from the finest honey that bees have to offer; Macademia nut honey is found nowhere else but Hawai'i.

Swimming in a fresh water pool at the base of a cascading waterfall is what we all imagine we would find in paradise. On Maui, follow the old Hana Highway and you will find such a place – Wailua Falls. This plunging cascade of clear water is the inspiration for our Limited Release Wailua Wheat Ale. This golden, sun colored ale has a bright, citrusy flavor that comes from the tropical passion fruit we brew into each batch. Sit back, relax and enjoy paradise anytime.

Our rye centric farmhouse red ale. Ample malt and fermentation-derived aromatics and flavors of plum, raisin, apricot, white pepper. Wood and earthy spice from the hops. Certainly a deep malt profile with a dry rumminess on the finish from the turbinado sugar, luxurious creamy mouthfeel.

This is a true double red with an ABV of 6.9%. This full flavored malty treat will you begging for more. Full of flavor and alcohol but hopped to perfection.

This Northern English Brown harkens back to the beer that started it all - a brew that we simply couldn't keep in the keg. Smooth, Sessionable, Malt-focused, English-hopped. Refreshing enough for summer drinking, substantive enough to enjoy in the winter - we love this beer year-round.

A standard porter grist with chocolate wheat malt added for roast and body. Cascade hops are added for fruity hop flavor and aroma. Finally, it is fermented with one of our house Belgian Ale strains for a complimentary ester profile.

Balanced and crisp, our easy drinking double IPA impacts flavors of citrus combined with a refreshing bitterness.
