Beta 2.0

The Beta IPA series allows our brewers to collaborate and innovate. This line of experimental IPA’s will feature new and exciting hops and ingredients. This is the second beer in that series — Beta 2.0. Beta 2.0 was brewed with Falconer’s Flight & Galaxy Hops. This is the first time we’ve used these hops together. Falconer’s Flight was featured in our Shoptalk IIPA collaboration with the Widmer Brothers while Galaxy was featured in Trophy earlier in 2016. We loved both of those beers and decided to see what magic could happen if we combined the two. So, what happened? Beta 2.0. This beer is overflowing with tropical hop goodness. Falconer’s Flight & Galaxy hops impart notes of pineapple and grapefruit. Brewed with pale and wheat malts for a crisp and dry finish, try Beta 2.0 while you can, Beta 3.o isn’t far behind it! Let us know what you think by using #BraxtonBeta.

Beta 3.0

Beta 3.0 is hazy in appearance but features citrus packed aromas and flavors contributed by copious amounts of Citra hops and orange peel. The overall profile of the beer is quickly followed up with notes of spice that arise from the addition of Coriander and a Belgian Yeast strain. At 6.0% ABV this beer is medium to light in body with a crisp, dry finish.

Beta 4.0

The fourth in our Experimental IPA series, Beta 4.0 is a drier, more sessionable take on the American IPA style. Floral notes in the aroma (from the Centennial) are prominent, while the flavor is more reminiscent of bright citrus. Bitterness is appropriate for style, and does not linger on the tongue.

Beta Blocker Bitter

Try saying the name of this beer 3 times in a row. It may be hard to say, but it is enjoyable to drink. Try one today! In the English tradition, this beer is brewed with pale malted barley, a small amount of wheat & crystal malt and lots and lots of hops. The flavor is dominated by UK Kent Gouldings hops which are used in the brewing process. This beer is bitter by design and fairly light in body. To allow the hop character to come through, we serve this beer on our nitrogen tap.

Beta IPA

At the Fort George we are always trying to improve our beers. We do constant research and try new things. With each update, let us know what you think. Use the comments section on this page, facebook, twitter, email, a phone call, carrier pigeon, or your choice communication method! Beta IPA testers are needed. Beta IPA 5.1 This is an experimental American-style hop forward IPA. This beer show cases the hops through a light body with a little addition of flaked corn at around 7% of the grain bill. The flaked corn as an adjunct adds simple sugars without affecting the flavor profile. This is a crisp dry beer that gives you plenty of citrus notes with some earthy hop undertones a well. Drink and enjoy. With the addition of what is known as brewing salts we adjusted the water chemistry to allow for more hop flavor without the over the top bitterness.

Beyond

Our pale ale has a rich, complex, refreshing flavour with a crisp dry finish. It contains Magnum and Cascade hops to create a flavour reminiscent of North American style ales. Brewed using traditional methods, Beyond contains only water, malted two-row barley, hops and yeast with no artificial fillers, colours, or preservatives. It is cold filtered to give a clear, ruby red colour with 4.4%ABV. Food Pairings: Beyond is a gregarious young fella’ who likes to head out for food with friends, especially if it's spicy! Beyond Good And Evil

Beyond Good and Evil is one of Nietzsche’s most powerful works, challenging conventional wisdom and urging us transcend good and evil while confronting the very nature of knowledge. This challenge both informs and inspires our work. Beyond Good and Evil is also the name of our bourbon barrel-aged maple imperial sweet stout. Brewed in May of 2012, we crafted this beer with a touch of Vermont maple syrup and then allowed it to rest quietly and contentedly in hand-selected bourbon barrels for over 18 months.

Beyond Measure

Author JK Rowling said in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, "Wit beyond measure is man's greatest treasure", and this Belgian Style Witbier is one of our summer treasures. Brewed in the manner that the great Pierre Celis rescued from extinction, our interpretation of Witbier shows aromatic notes of orange, subtle spice, and light yeast-derived esters; prior to a palate of more fruit-centric flavors . The perfect antidote to hot weather, long days at work, and whatever else might ail you.

Beyond Modus

A study in blending. After an initial period of ageing, with wild yeasts, we blend a batch of Modus Operandi, we then age this blend for a further 4 months in some exceptional Burgundy red wine barrels, hand-picked to be the perfect vessels for this beer. As this is 'Beyond Modus' we blend in a couple of select beers from our barrel library. We think these add extra character, depth and complexity to the blend, to make it the finest barrel-aged beer we have achieved so far. We expect this beer to age very well for a number of years.
