This copper colored lager is brewed with hybrid yeast that ferments at warmer temps, giving that clean refreshing taste of a lager with the slight fruitiness of an ale.

Triple Aged in White Wine Barrels

This Third Coast IPA is brewed with a ridiculous amount of hops and just enough malt sweetness to create a smooth, delectable finish. “Cooked” with eight different hop varieties, Catalyst has a complex and unique blend of citrus, pine, and dank. Palatable and intense enough to give even the biggest hop head a jolt.

For coastal locals like us, the annual hurricane season is equal parts fun and terror. We all follow a series of storms with weird names like other folks follow pro sports teams, tracking paths and occasionally buying bulk batteries and jugs of spring water. The least we could do is brew some beer to help alleviate anxiety during these tense months. The Hurricane Series of IPAs, with varying strengths corresponding to each of the storm categories, is a public service of HCB. The ABV on Category 2 IPA, brewed on September 19, 2012 and the third in the series, makes it sound like a tame beast. The hop schedule, however, is a wild animal. Copious hopping in the boil with Simcoe, Citra, Ahtanum, and Cascade was followed up with a 10lb Amarillo dry-hop. The end result is an IPA with a citrusy aroma and arresting bitterness. If this doesn't take your mind off the stormy Atlantic, nothing will.

The second member of the series, Category 4, was originally brewed on November 23, 2011, at the very tail-end of that year’s hurricane season. A minty hop profile provided highlights to this otherwise strong IPA.

The CatFight imagery is inspired by the unique addition of Aramis hops throughout the brewing process. The Aramis variety (named after one of the 3 Musketeers) exhibits fine aromas, inherited from the French Strisselspalt line. They have sweet, spicy notes, with hints of citrus and herbs. Aramis the Musketeer was said to have loved women and was portrayed as constantly ambitious and insatiable. Just as you will be after tasting this Saison, with its light and crisp malt flavor with a touch of lemon/citrus flavors and a dry finish. You will lust for more with every sip! This Saison is hazy, opaque, golden straw in color. The hop aromas are of lemons and mild spices. The malt character is light and crisp with some citrus/lemon notes, mild hop bitterness that has just enough bite to balance the beer, and a very dry finish.

Bourbon Aged Imperial is a full bodied beer, with an array of complex dark malt flavors ranging from roasted to carmel. The oak aged bourbon character is very transparent and pleasant where malty sweetness balances a smooth warm alcohol character.

Catherine is a double IPA brewed with huge amounts of classic American hops along with a relative new comer. Dangerously drinkable at 8.2% and packed with hop flavor and aroma.

This is a beer that calls upon the deliciousness of two styles we love: IPAs and Belgian ales. Refreshing and flavourful, Catherine Wheel is an untraditional Belgian/American melange.

Catherine II, the 18th century Empress of Russia, is said to have been the inspiration behind the creation of the Imperial Russian Stout, an intensely flavored, big, dark ale, with a noticeable alcohol presence. Legend has it that Catherine also had a voracious sexual appetite; she was known to have many lovers, but the story about the stallion was probably a myth. At Swamp Head we have a passion for the creation of great craft beers, so we infused our Imperial Russian Stout with organic cocoa nibs and fair trade coffee, to create a sensual stout with an extra kick. We think Catherine's Passion would be aroused by this stout...ale.

A super pale, single malt (Best Malz Pilsner), single hop (Chinook) I.P.A. inspired by the effect of catnip on our brewery cat, Fuggle. If only beer could make us that happy… Catnip is our best shot - a light-colored, deceptively strong and hoppy beer with grapefruit and pine hop flavors and a refreshing tartness and ‘funk’ from our Belgian Wit yeast.

German style golden ale that originates in the Cologne region. This style of the beer is brewed with around 12% wheat malt, the rest of the grist being German Pilsner malt. Restrained hop bitterness can be discerned by the use of German noble hops such as Hallertau, Hersbrucker or Tettnag varietals. This style of beer is protected by the "Kolsch Convention" pact signed in 1986 by 24 breweries in and around Cologne that is recognized by the German government and allows these breweries exclusive rights to the word Kolsch to describe their beer

A dry irish stout with a wild twist. Brewed with 6.66% soured wort and served only on nitro, this stout is smooth, creamy and roasty with notes of dark chocolate and coffee and just a hint of complexity from the small portion of tart wort.
