Cool Beans is a robust Imperial Coffee Porter brewed with coffee beans from Muggsy's Beans, a local roaster in St. Cloud, Minnesota. These Sumatra beans are cold pressed into a sweet concentrate, then combined with our roasted, chocolate malts producing a big blend you’ll soon be buzzing about. Cool Beans exhibits a rich dark brown color and a bold coffee aroma with a smooth roasted flavor. We call it Cool Beans but you’ll call this cool-laberation warm and fuzzy deliciousness.

Coffee Porter

Our English-Style Oatmeal Stout uses a large amount of raw and malted oats to create a nice rich flavor and round mouthfeel in this low ABV stout. The malt bill creates a nice balance of flavors reminiscent of coffee and chocolate chip cookie.

A clean, soft, and effervescent ale in the style of the classic Kölsches of Cologne, Germany. Slight fruit and hop aromas are present in this delicately-flavored beer.

Inspired by a Hendrick’s gin basil cooler, Coolcumber is made with cucumber, basil, and juniper berries. Just like making a great cocktail, this beer is dosed carefully with its ingredients to create a one-of-a-kind flavor experience. Golden in color and wonderfully drinkable.

Elgood’s Coolship Sour Ale. Brewed using traditional methods & original brewing equipment. Spontaneous fermentation is initiated on our unique double coolships. A long period of fermentation and maturation in special tanks enables naturally occurring wild yeasts, combined with oak, to create its sharp fruity flavour. A true sour English Ale. 6%.

Elgood’s Coolship Sour Ale. Brewed using traditional methods & original brewing equipment. Spontaneous fermentation is initiated on our unique double coolships. This unique English style sour beer, brewed in the artisanal manner at North Brink Brewery has been blended with Raspberry and a hint of Blackberry. The beer has a purple colour and a sparkling finish. The sweetness and rich berry flavour is off-set by the smooth sourness of the Coolship Ale, the hedgerow fruit aroma is prominent and with soft fruity tones.

Like its Theakston stable-mate Hogshead Bitter, Theakston Coopers’ Butt was brewed to commemorate the ‘Trussing In’ ceremony of our current Cooper in 1999. We have employed Coopers to make our oak casks continuously since 1827 when our company was first established. It is a tradition of which we are immensely proud, in fact we believe that we are now the only brewery in the country to employ a full-time craft cooper. Jonathan Manby our Cooper went though a four-year apprenticeship to become fully qualified and has been with us for over 17 years. Our wooden casks are used for Old Peculier and remain very popular with a dedicated group of licensees and customers in the north of England. Our Coopers shop is located at the heart of the brewery site in Masham and can be viewed by visitors as part of a brewery tour. Always brewed in the early part of the year, the full bodied IPA style beer with its pronounced hop character is the perfect ale to get through the chilly months of the year. A butt is a wooden cask containing 108 gallons and was traditionally used to hold ‘stock’ beer in the brewery through the winter months. Too big to be used as a means of delivering beer to outlets, that task was normally for hogsheads or barrels and other smaller casks.

Tavern Ale is a traditional English Bitter, dry bodied and light in color. This sessions ale utilizes Northdown and Kent Golding Hops. Tavern Ale is the creation of Assistant Brewer Adrian Bethel.

This ale is the product of brewing with a selection of barley and wheat malt, and with no added sugar. This traditional brewing approach provides the smooth malt character which is balanced by a triple hopping of the brew with Pride of Ringwood and Saaz hops. The brew has fermented similarly to its stablemates Pale and Sparkling Ale, with the customary secondary fermentation in the bottle and can.

Coopers Premium Light is brewed using malted barley and no sugar. Coopers has used traditional lager brewing techniques to produce a full-flavoured light beer. The light has a fresh aroma with clean floral hop notes, excellent head and colour presentation.

Baseball and beer. Few things are more ingrained in America's psyche than baseball and beer. The histories of both are laden with traditions and transcendence. Rascals and radicals. Celebration and shared experience. Treasured summertime moments with sun on our faces and a beer in our hands. The timeless game defines our past and guides our future. Lightly golden-straw hue with a lasting thick, white head. Aromas of sweet malt, floral with slight citrus are followed by delicate herbal notes. Faintly sweet giving way to mellow, lightly floral hop flavor and notes of banana and pears from our signature house yeast. Nicely balanced with a clean herbal-hopped finish makes this an enjoyably, quaffable ale.

A medium-bodied West Coast IPA. This one is all about the Pacific Northwest hops. This style starts you off with a big nose of citrus and takes you through a citrus hop bomb on the front of the palate with a dry finish carrying a hint of pine.

Introducing Stoutwood: the second installment in our soon to be award winning and earth-changing Cooper’s Series. The unique and complex flavors found in these beers are the aftereffect of being aged in medium-toasted American Oak barrels. Stoutwood offers the palette notes of fruit and coconut; similar to an oak aged Chardonnay.

Quadwood is our fourth installment of the brewer’s Cooper’s Series. This Belgian Quadrupel is a deep redish brown with complex dark fruit aromatics and deep malt notes of figs and raisins that blend into a yeast that delivers fresh apple while soft tannins of fresh oak finish this masterpiece. Quadwood is inspired by the men of the cloth who would use this high gravity Trappist ale for sustenance while fasting through Lent. These men mastered two things, praying and brewing. We’ve master one...drinking it.
