Counter Clockweisse

This reverse engineered, wild Berliner–Style Weisse is a German-style sour that is very pale in color and is the lightest of all the German wheat beers. The unique combination of wild yeast and lactic fermentation yields a beer that is acidic, lemony-tart, highly attenuated and very light bodied. The carbonation of this Berliner Weisse is high, and hop rates are very low.

Counter Clockwise Swirl

In true Martin House style, we’ve taken a silky smooth oatmeal blonde ale and added flavors usually found only in a dark beer. There is no reason a blonde ale can’t be elevated to an alluring and enchanted treat. Counter Clockwise Swirl has chocolate and vanilla notes on top of a decadent oatmeal blonde body. It’s a slightly sweet sipper sure to satisfy. One-in-million, doc!

Country Common

Brewed exclusively for Izakaya Meiji and Agrarian, this is an original American Lager. With organically grown Abenaki heirloom corn and organic Pils barley malt for a slightly rich cereal flavor profile, we use a sour mash technique to create crisp acidity which balances this sweetness. The fermentation reflects the term "Common", meaning a rustic, warm, uncontrolled fermentation with a lager yeast; this contributes fruity ale-type flavors to the front of the palate while keeping the finish crisp, clean, and dry. Nugget hops from our farm add firm bitterness to the otherwise soft beer, but contribute little flavor or aroma. Inspiration for this beer was gleaned from historical American frontier beer, where refrigeration technology was non-existent, and ingredients were location-dependent. This reflects the Agrarian mantra of growing our own, and buying ingredients direct from local farmers. The beer itself is a refined version of an undistilled sour mash whiskey wash, and is right at home alongside its distilled cousin, a fine whiskey.

Country White Ale

Zipline Brewing Co.’s Country White Ale is a sessionable farmhouse ale—the product of our efforts to design a summer-time Belgian-style ale. We wanted a fresher and more drinkable brew than the typical “Wit” style, so we used a farmhouse yeast strain to achieve a dryer, more drinkable profile. To further separate the Country White from the Wit style (which is commonly brewed with dried orange peels), we used fresh Valencia oranges throughout the brewing process to add a hint of citrus to the beer. And, to maintain a strong local tie, we use 200 lbs of Nebraska organic, rolled white wheat in every batch. After you park the lawnmower, Country White Ale will be waiting for you all summer long… Hops: Santiam & Glacier Malts: Pils, Rolled Wheat, & Victory

This sessionable American Brown Ale doesn’t neatly comply with category definitions. With British brown malt offering toasted, nutty essences and a hint of chocolate, this beer is drier than its overt flavor set might lead one to expect. Finished with complementary bitterness and subtle clues to its brown ale identity, County Brown is brewed with our American ale yeast strain.

Courage

This rich, hearty stout carries roasty, chocolaty, and toffee flavors up through a pitch black pint capped with a mocha head. Just enough cascade late hops start to break through in the finish, only to be overshadowed by another rush of malty, dark, roastiness. With age, this beer exhibits more chocolate and less roast. A true winter warmer.

Courage Best

With over 200 years of brewing pedigree, Courage Best Bitter retains its widespread popularity. Best is available in both cask and keg meaning even if your local isn’t a cask beer stockist, you can still enjoy the great taste of Courage Best. Pale brown in appearance with a bitter after taste, Courage Best Bitter consumers enjoy its lower ABV of 4% that allows them the opportunity to enjoy their favourite ale for longer. Courage Best Bitter is also a major sponsor of rugby union clubs including the Plymouth Pirates and the Exeter Chiefs and sponsors local events within its south west of England heartland. Building on the long heritage of Courage, the iconic ‘Take Courage’ slogan, which has been used for over 50 years, was given a new lease of life with a £2m advertising campaign. The three adverts show Courage as a beer for ‘every man,’ in which ‘our hero’ is shown in situations where he can be seen thinking he would rather be down the pub drinking a pint of Courage.

Courageous

Courageous IPA is an exciting departure from the traditional American style IPA. Brewed with a wheat backbone instead of traditional malts, this bright IPA is the perfect antidote to a hot summer day. While the wheat is apparent in the nose, on the tongue a generous helping of Amarillo hops takes charge with a crisp grapefruit character that's sure to please the hop heads in the crowd.

Courir de Mardi Gras

Courir de Mardi Gras is our artisanal version of a French farmhouse style of ale known as a Biere de Mars (March Beer). These farmhouse ales are historically crafted with Pilsner, Munich, and a large dose of wheat malt that lends the beer a distinct, Spring-like quality. Biere de Mars are traditionally crafted at the beginning of winter with the farm’s freshest crop of barley, wheat and hops. The farm’s brewers then spend months aging what they consider their finest beer of the year.” Our Courir de Mardi Gras is seasonally brewed and released for all of your pre-Lenten, Mardi Gras celebrations – whether you are chasing plastic beads and doubloons at a parade or a live chicken in a muddy field.
