Copperwheat

Copperwheat is named after the fictitious Lewes brewers in Mrs. Dudeny's novel 'Seed Pods' (1927). Originally inspired by SIBA's Wheat Beer challenge in 2001. It is best served chilled. Tasting notes: Brewed with malted wheat and barley, this 'Kristal Weissbier' contains only English hops. Harveys own brewing liquor and yeast strain are employed but the result is a very continental flavour. It has been described as "wheat and sweet" but it still retains the typical dry palate and is extremely moreish.

Coquetier

Brewed with cubeb peppercorns, anise seed, and lemon zest and juice, Coquetier is inspired by the woody, floral, and herbal character of the Sazerac cocktail. Lemon zest recalls the cocktail’s traditional garnish, a thin sliver of lemon peel rested on the rim. It was aged in brandy barrels, as the cocktail originally called for Cognac brandy. Unfiltered, unpasteurized, and 100% bottle conditioned.

Corbin's Revenge IPA

This classic unfiltered IPA has a nice balance of hops and malt. Dry hopped with centennial hops and French oak for a delicate floral finish and subtle vanilla flavors. This is not a West Coast style hop-bomb. On July 12, 1875 Henry Corbin’s Saloon, which was located just behind where Temperance Row Brewing Company is now located, was bombed by the local townspeople opposed to such an establishment in their town. Corbin rebuilt two years later and his new saloon suffered the same fate. We named our IPA in Henry’s honor. Revenge is a beer best served cold.

Corn King

Corn King IPA is the inaugural collaboration for the IN Beer Brigade, a membership program that supports the Brewers of Indiana Guild. Brewed by 3 Floyds with our Northwestern Indiana brewery brethren, Corn King features intense citrus flavor with grapefruit, orange, and lemon at the forefront. Citrus notes are balanced by pine, stone fruit, and berry flavors. Our locally grown corn, locally malted by Sugar Creek Malt Co., gives this beer a light body and a smooth finish making it an easy drinking IPA. This beer is available only through the IN Beer Brigade.

Corncob Cream Ale

Cream ale is an ale that is smooth and refreshing like a light lager. This is by far our lightest bodied beer on the menu currently. This beer was made with Pilsner malts and a significant amount of Corn to lighten the body up even further. The corn flavor is fairly subdued, but the beer has a sweet corn-like aroma. Hops were used very sparingly. We used ale yeast and then cold conditioned the beer for over a month to smooth out the beer.

Cornucopia

Late summer brings some of the best in local produce and Joe has made the best of it with Cornucopia, his farmhouse style ale brewed with Iowa Sweet Corn. This was one of the first brews he made last year to appeal to the locals around Knoxville and it was met lots of enthusiasm. Originally, it was informally called Iowa Corn Beer. Over a couple of pints last spring as we were planning our fall, the name Cornucopia was thrown out, probably by Joe, and it stuck. It’s catchy, fun and a little silly. But don’t let the name fool you, this is a beer that serious beer people love!
