Inspired by West Coast I.P.A.'s, but brewed with Michigan style. The Crooked Tree is heavily dry hopped to give it a big aroma of pine and citrus. The flavors are big, yet very balanced between fresh hops and malt. Often described as "grapefruit" our hops give this beer an excellent fruit flavor that finishes dry, crisp, and clean. It will pour a nice deep copper color with a bit of haziness. Because of our almost patented "Intense Transfer Methods" our Crooked Tree has won several medals in the India Pale Ale category.

Our lightest in terms of alcohol comes in at 4.8% by volume so that malt can dominate the flavor profile. Caramel sweet malt all over the palate with a noticeable “jumping just over the barrier” citrus hop aroma. Surprisingly refreshing for such a malt driven ale. Truly an all season American Amber.

Crisp golden ale with a delicate hop finish. This is our lightest ale and it is brewed with a bit wheat malt for body and Munich and Aromatic malts for and undertone of honey-like sweetness. Lightly dry-hopped with Cascade hops for that classic American golden ale aroma.

Our flagship IPA is brewed in the West Coast style and inspired by the 1947 film noir of the same name starring the three Roberts (Mitchum, Ryan, and Young). Crossfire has a bold hop presence with notes of citrus and pine. Pale, Munich, and Crystal Malts provide a strong malt backbone, making this IPA extremely balanced and drinkable.

Although pale ale is one of the world’s most common beer styles, Crosswind is anything but. Light in color but not flavor, our pale ale is a surefire hit among drinkers of full-flavored premium imports.

Cream ales are one of the first uniquely American beers, and the Crow Wing River runs deep through the memories and the culture of central Minnesota. To honor those histories, we've created Crow Wing Cream Ale. A blend of barley malt, wheat and corn and German Hallertauer hops provide balance, to make a crisp, smooth, refreshing beer.

Just shy of an Imperial IPA, this dry hopped beer is soon to become a favorite for American hop-heads. Moderate malt character blends nicely with the combination of Chinook, Centennial and Cascade hops.

As many sailors were barefoot, pirates would toss this multi pronged steel weapon on to the deck of the ship they were attacking, causing chaos. Hints of roasted barley, coffee, chocolate and acidic funk pierce your palate in this light bodied, dry, black ale.

Often called your typical American lawnmower beer, cream ales are not unlike their American light lager cousin. Brewed with two and six row continental barley, flaked maize, a touch of Munich malt, and of course, sugar, Croydon Cream Ale is light, refreshing, and easy to drink. We also use American Cluster and Czech Saaz hops that give it a touch of hop bitterness and a hint of floral aromatics.

Cruiser All Day Pale Ale is a smooth Golden Pale Ale that has a refined drinkability and rich tropical flavors. We use a bounty of Canadian Pale Malts and slowly add Citra and Sorachi Ace hops, giving the beer a crisp, refreshing taste with a big citrus punch.

The finest imported English Mild Ale malt along with Crystal and Chocolate Malts combine with true English hops to create an English style treat. A deep copper color pleases the eyes while fine malts and Fuggles hops please the palate.

We heart session beers. There's nothing quite like whiling away an afternoon with a six pack of something crisp, clean, and light enough to walk away from when the job is done. But we also demand flavor -- hops at that, and the more the better. Meet the Crusher: this poundable, single hop session IPA is brewed with 2-row barley and a touch of caramel malt for depth, accented with loads and loads of late-addition hops. The hops provide an IPA-sized dose of intensely fruity hop aroma without an overly bitter finish. We use a different hop every two months to showcase that variety of hop and its unique attributes. This is the IPA bar stools were invented for.
