Hoppy Wheat beer

Named after our uncle, an avid fly fisherman, this beer is great for a hot day on the water or a refreshing quaff after a long day on the cold water before you move onto one of our Porters. Doughy, bready, Pilsner malt complimented by aroma and light flavor of German Spalt Select and Perle whirlpool hops that accent the crisp finish of this lager.

The Flyin’ Hawaiian is brewed with Columbus, Mandarina Bavaria, Pacific Gem and Falconer’s Flight hops, creating a tasty interplay between earthy and pine notes with citrus, dark berries and tropical fruit. A burst of fresh pineapple post-fermentation enhances the hops with an extra layer of tropical flavors, while the simple malt bill allows the hops to shine.

This is a richer version of our Dancin’ Monks Dubbel, conditioned on oak cubes used by Spirit of Texas Distilleries to age their Pecan Street Rum. While no additional alcohol is derived from the conditioning process, the oak adds a rich complexity to the ale.

This is a Belgian-style Golden Ale. It has a pale gold color, is soft on the palette and has an intriguing spiciness imparted by the Belgian yeast. It is unfiltered and, therefore, cloudy in appearance. (Don’t panic, that is just yeast – which is mainly vitamin B – and we don’t charge extra for it.) If the flying monkeys scene scared you in the Wizard of Oz this beer will calm your nerves. And bonus points if you order this beer in the Flemish.

Traditional 90 schilling Scottish Ale. This deep copper-brown ale is very malt forward with a touch of roasted barley and smoked malt with a medium body. Slainte Mhor!

The kinetic beauty of spicy hops grabs you by the nose and lets you know: this is German-inspired beer. A mild, bready malt sweetness greets you at the lips, smoothing the crisp hop flavors. Flywheel is meant for bombastic celebrations of singing voices and clamoring mugs. But then, that first contented moment of happy hour is uniquely celebratory as well. Flywheel Bright Lager goes great with hot dogs, guitar jams, stir fry, bowling, taco salad, house warmings, baked potatoes, Saturday morning cartoons, tequila, gouda cheese, karaoke, bagel & schmear, Euchre, fresh berries, asparagus, 16-inch softball, sushi, darts, Pad Thai, family reunions, pb&j, flan, romantic weekend getaways, garlic bread, pay raises, nachos, baby showers, fondue, and Frisbee golf.

Just south of the brewery there is a road called FM 966, and now there is a beer called FM 966. Coincidence? All we know is that this spring provisional ale made with pilsner and wheat malts is spicy, fruity and always hits the spot.

A traditional American cream ale brewed with American 2-row malt and imported German hops. Delicately hopped, light in body, and very refreshing with a clean finish.

Foco JunIPA, Herb and Spice Beer. Base style: English (Classic) IPA. An IPA dry hopped with crushed Juniper Berries during secondary fermentation.
