A strong malt backbone supports the piney, citrusy notes brought on by multiple additions of Cascade and Citra hops. A great beer to pair with weekend burgers or taco night!

An English style golden strong ale brewed with imported English pale malt and German pilsner malts to provide biscuity malt notes and a dark golden color. The hop varietals used are imported English Challenger and First Gold to create a pleasant bitterness on a palate.

Lately it occurs to me what a long, strange trip it's been. This brew has a deep golden color with spicy phenolics, fruity notes, yeast and clove in the nose. Rich mouthfeel with complex fruity, yeasty flavors and hints of clove with just the right amount of hop bitterness and a slightly sweet finish. Drink up do-dah man.

Headbangerz Brown Ale is based on an English brown ale style. Its color is a demonic, dark reddish-brown. This beer is subtly sweet and punctuated with roasty, nutty flavors. The hops take a back seat and simply complement the malt character. Headbangerz Brown Ale is perfect for any Autumn outdoor activities or for relaxing on Summer evenings. Headbangerz Brown Ale is named in honor of Barbarian Chief's, Mike Hiller, hardworking former co-workers ââ?¬â?? heavy metal freaks and masters of metal fabrication.

This seasonal ale, inspired by American folklore is brewed using German malts, English fuggle hops, pumpkin, cinnamon, ginger, cloves & nutmeg. Enjoy the fall season with this truly distinctive pumpkin ale.

A Pumpkin Schwarzbier “The Headless Schwarzman, Attend the Tale! Foretold is a Lager Beyond the Pale…” With the witching season impending, a new brew comes from CBC to commemorate the head of a very famous and most ghastly brewer. Only the Best Dark Munich and Pilsner malts were married to 140 pounds of locally-grown organic sugar pumpkins and roasted malts to bring this black lager to life.

Brewed in collaboration with friend and home brewer Vera Deckard, Headlights IPA is brewed in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. A percentage of every pint sold will be donated to this cause. The centerpiece to this IPA is the New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hop. The Sauvin in the name comes from the Sauvignon Blanc type flavors imparted by the hop. White wine and citrus fruitiness, a crispness and slight minerality move this IPA out of the typical hop bomb realm and into an area of universal appeal across palates.

We love hops – that’s why our flagship Double IPA, Heady Topper, is packed full of them. Heady Topper was designed to showcase the complex flavors and aromas these flowers produce. The Alchemist has been brewing Heady Topper since 2003. This Double IPA is not intended to be the strongest or most bitter DIPA. It is brewed to give you wave after wave of hop flavor without any astringent bitterness. We brew Heady Topper with a proprietary blend of six hops – each imparting its own unique flavor and aroma. Take a big sip of Heady and see what hop flavors you can pick out. Orange? Tropical Fruit? Pink Grapefruit? Pine? Spice? There is just enough malt to give this beer some backbone, but not enough to take the hops away from the center stage.
