Heart of Gold is our Wheatwine, an American take on the classic Barleywine. Brewed to "wine strength" but with a malt bill full of wheat, Heart of Gold has a beautiful tawny color from its extended boil. Flavors of molasses, brown sugar, and honey covered biscuits are characters of the maltiness that are accentuated by the fruity and nutty yeast that was used to fermented it to 10% ABV. American hops balance the bold body with their clean bitterness and citrus forward flavor.

This is a sweet stout. Full bodied, sweet stout with a tart front and dark fruits throughout. You can't miss the plum and date notes and just dark roasted malt goodness. Coffee and dark roasted malts come through right at the beginning in the nose especially followed by a bunch of nice dark fruits the residual sugars in this beer just carry out. This isn't for the Guinness fans ...no dryness is here.

Hearts Alive Double IPA features a copious amount of American hops well balanced by a firm malt backbone. Dry-hopping with Simcoe, Bravo and Summit hops drives the complex aromas and flavors of our DIPA.

Golden Goose with a chilli added to the bottle. The older the hotter. Small runs available depending on supply of chilies. Usually available after the Easter chili harvest. Served with the chilli for those who can hack it.

CBC’s World Famous Herbal Beer with Handpicked Fresh Heather Flowers From out of the darkness of pre-recorded history, Heather Ale is an altogether unique brew. Originally crafted by the inhabitants of coastal Northern Europe, Scandinavia, and the Northern British Isles, fresh heather flowers and other herbs were used to balance and flavor the rustic yet sweet toasted character of the malted barley. Its brewing tradition existed long before the advent of hopped beers, and has continued, sporadically, in small rural communities for millennia.

Imperial Stout – 10,2% vol. Twice the amount of dark roasted malts used, massive Imperial stout. This is a mad one. Black brown colour with a thick and creamy tan head that can be added to as you wish if you give the bottle a swirl. Give this beer time to breathe and blossom into something truly stunning. Chocolate and alcohol are right there at the front but do not at all overpower the gorgeousness that is underneath. Full of leather, vanilla, amazing wooden notes, beautifully floral character from the hops, thick Belgian chocolate, much character. The flavour of crazy wooden tartness. An extremely bitter finish seems to come out of nowhere and is what really makes this quite unique. Superb width in the mouth and coats the whole palate beautifully. Alcohol 12% in latere versies

Barrel aged for 5 months beginning in April of 2016, this Imperial Stout has an amazing nose and flavor of dark chocolate, coffee, caramel, dark fruits, vanilla and bourbon. And it's very smooooth.

I�m sure everyone here knows, Pittsburgh has some humid summers. What can you do to escape the heat and enjoy yourself? Well I�ve got the answer. How about a light thirst quenching Hefe Weizen (pronounced hefa Vite zen) in the cool environment of our Hop Garden patio. I can hear you wondering, what is a hefe weizen? Allay your fears my friends because I�m going to tell you. A hefe weizen is a special style of beer made with malted wheat and malted barley. Hefe weizens are from Germany. This beer is top fermented (an ale) with a very special yeast. The Hop levels are kept deliberately low in order to bring out the character of the yeast. If you notice the nose of the beer, it has a clove-like or fruity aroma. The grain bill includes 50% wheat malt and 50% barley malt. It is served very carbonated and a touch cloudy. It is cloudy because it is served unfiltered. The remaining yeast contributes flavor, adds B vitamins, and improves the beer as it ages.
