Hoppy Harvest Ale

Our Hoppy Harvest Ale was designed with the change of seasons in mind. This Stoup creation combats the autumn chill with its warming malty goodness and complements the colors of the changing leaves with amber and earthy brown hues. Kiln Amber, Munich and Aromatic malts give this beer a toasty, malt sweetness that is balanced with bracing hop bitterness. Dry-hopping with Goldings and German Merkur hops adds the final fall touch with an earthy, herbal and slightly spicy aroma.

Hoppy Mon

This light bodied cider is our Early Man blend which is a select blend of our early maturing heirloom apples, featuring McIntosh & Gravenstein. While still a dry cider, the Early Man is crisp with a light fruitiness that preserves those last remaining notes of summer. We turn it into the Hoppy Mon by dry hopping it with Cascade and Centennial Hops.

Hoppy Salvation

The hops we use give this beer its characteristic floral and citrus notes in smell and taste but we also kept a slightly higher percentage of caramel malts in the recipe to balance out the 70+ IBU’s of bitterness. Our IPA follows a traditional West Coast IPA recipe and despite the stronger malt backbone you’ll find the flavor to be very hop forward with floral and citrus aromas that jump out of the glass.

Hoppy Seconds

This is our first creation of an emerging new style: An American-Style Belgian Ale. It was brewed with a true Belgian Ale yeast and fermented at a slightly warmer temperature to allow the yeast produce more fruity esters. A very basic malt bill of only 2 row and wheat was used and complimented by an obscene amount of Hersbrucker and Saaz hops. 8.4 % ABV.

Hoppy Snazzy Fresh Nitro

Traditionally nitro beers are dark and malty. This spring nitro pale ale casts off tradition and the dark of winter by drawing in the fresh and light aromas of spring. Pairing rich, fruity aromas and hop flavor with creamy nitro mouthfeel makes this ale disappear from your glass faster than winter's chill.

Hoppy Sour: Azacca

US-bred Azacca is one of our favorite new hops! Grown in Washington, this new hop varietal offers a tropical aroma of kiwi and papaya, with a hint of mango and pine needles. Layered on our sour blonde, these alluring new hops create complex and tropical aromas unlike anything else. We blended our wine barrel-aged sour blonde ale with foeder-fermented brettanomyces farmhouse ale to craft a complex base of stone fruit, oak, and earthy funk to compliment the fruity punch of Azacca.

Hoppy Table Beer

Allagash Hoppy Table Beer is inspired by the Belgian tradition of “biere de table” - low ABV, easily drinkable beers brewed for a wide variety of settings. This beer is brewed with our 2-row malt blend, Maris Otter malt, and oats, then lightly spiced with a subtle addition of coriander, and fermented with our house yeast. Hoppy Table Beer is hopped with Chinook, Cascade, Comet, and Azacca hops, and dry hopped with more Comet and Azacca. This straw-colored, light bodied beer has aromas of citrus and grapefruit, flavors of pine and stone fruit, and finishes clean with a slight bitterness.

Hoppy to be an American Ale

This is an all American lager ale with a nice hoppy flavor. Since Silverton is the 4th of July headquarters for all things American, we thought we would start getting people in a patriotic mood early and often by naming this beer after our most treasured day of year.
