Hopstache typifies the boldness that comes from American hop varieties. The aroma is dominated by fruity ale yeast esters and fragrant grapefruit tones. Initial malt sweetness is low, and citrus fruit and floral hop qualities overpower any other perceived flavors. Aided by the addition of grapefruit zest, the finish is a sharp hop shock that electrifies the mouth, but is not overly bitter.

Available only in New York State for a limited time the 2016 version of Hopstate NY is an Amber Rye Ale - a completely new evolution in the annually evolving series. The hopping schedule is almost entirely late-edition hopping. Then, two rounds of dry-hopping follow during fermentation. These late hop additions give the beer bright aromas of citrus and melon. The flavor follows the aroma with pleasant notes of citrus alongside sweet honey and caramel from the ample malt backbone. Moderate bitterness blends nicely with the malty sweetness and the finish resolves to satisfying spiciness.

We love hops, and we love sour ales, so our inventive brewers found a way to combine two of our favorite things. By dry hopping our blonde sour ale Basis, we developed Hopsynth as a well-melded, lighter, hoppier sour ale with full hop aromas and flavors. Huge wafts of piney, tropical and citrus hop aromas come from the glass. A touch of tartness complements the grassy and grapefruit hop flavors of El Dorado and Citra hops. Dubbed the "TIME WARP" this imperial IPA is brewed in the northwest tradition with american 2 row and crystal malts balanced with 5 different northwest varietal hops. Fruity flowery and BIG!

Before sipping this American IPA, you may notice an aroma of grapefruit and citrusy lemon. Take note of a piney flavor throughout the beer and a surprise caramel sweetness that lingers at the finish.

With waves of juicy citrus & tropical fruit, and a big flash of pine, our single IPA uses a lavish amount of hop varieties & additions throughout the brewing process. Hoptastic? Hopsurd? Hop-fetched? Call it whatever you like -- just don't forget the hop. We sure didn't.

HopTime Harvest Ale is brewed with 100% wet (in-kilned) hops. This means the hops are still carrying all their moisture and thus we have to add 5 to 8 times the amount of hops as compared to a regular brew. When brewing with wet hops a brewer gets a much different hop character as compared to brewing with dried, more conventional hops. The difference in brewing with wet and dried hops is like comparing freshly pick basil and dried basil, it is good both ways but each style has its own unique flavors and aromas.

Hops, hops and more hops are the stars of this big, whole-cone Imperial IPA. Resinous ‘new-school’ and exclusive hop varieties carry the bold and aromatic nose. The flavor follows the aroma with layers of aggressive hoppiness, featuring notes of grapefruit rind, rose, lilac, cedar and tropical fruit – all culminating in a dry and lasting finish.
