Dopplebock started out as a Lenten beer for the monks in Germany. During Lent they would forgo solid food and get all their sustenance from beer. Needless to say it was big beer with lots of unfermented dextrins. Once the public got a taste it became very popular. We call our beer Mediator because we think that a 22 ounce bottle is probably better shared than drunk alone. It's rich, toasty and malty, with a few plum notes on the palate and the slightest roasted character in the finish. I think this would go really well with a number of cheeses.

Medora is a blonde sour ale aged in red wine barrels with one pound of blackberries and raspberries per gallon. The result is a beautiful, fuchsia ale with bright berry character. The daughter of a king, Medora was wrought with the burden of expectations. Her father did his utmost to speak confidence into his young daughter. Time passed and with it the king, leaving Medora his sole heir. Her melancholy deepened. One night a great meteor flashed across the northern sky. Her father's words lit into her heart: "Choose happiness; no expectation of circumstance can usurp your will to rejoice in them." Medora thrived, and as for imposed expectations; she never gave them credence again.

Enlightened elder brother of our American Double IPA, More Cowbell Although similar to More Cowbell but with one big exception, Belgian yeast. Bright, spicy aromatics from the traditionally Belgian yeast strain will leap out of your glass and give way to the soft tropical fruit flavors.

Those fabled voyages of the British Empire supplying heavily hopped beer to their troops in India had to travel around the southern tip of Africa, home to the terminally cute meerkat. We paid homage to this often overlooked leg of the journey with this beer, a crisp, citrusy blend of Chinook and Amarillo hops. O.G. 16.0, 6.1% ABV

A smooth English-Style Strong Ale with hints of First Gold hops and warm notes of toffee and raisins. The 9% ABV in this not-so-session brew is balanced well by the residual sugars from Munich malt.

Meewasin 80 is an exclusive brew with a unique local flair, custom brewed to celebrate the fact that the complete trail system in and around Saskatoon will soon total 80 kilometers! The brewer made “Beer History” by putting live spruce and pine, from the Meewasin Trail, directly into the beer. The subtle hints of pine leave an elegant spicy aftertaste. We hope you enjoy this earthy, fruity take on this ancient Wit Beer Style.

This hybrid is a cross between our Double Hop IPA and a big American IPA. There is a moderate body, which interacts interestingly with the hops. The very bitter American hops used are quite different from the fragrant hops of the Double Hop, with the result being a bitterer beer with a little more flavor and a quite different aroma. The overall impression is of a big American IPA, brewed with bitter hops, in a quite different take on the style than our Double Hop IPA.

A West-Coast style light bodied pale ale with a Megamix of Mosaic, Galaxy and Citra late addition and dry hops.

Kick back and crank it up as we’ve done all the brewing…the we being us and the special guest appearances of two heavy hitters in the indie craft beer industry: New Mexico’s Marble and Colorado’s Odell. Credited with 58 years of brewing chops, our trio built their wheat ale foundation on the classic “C” hops. Then, we rocked a pure hop triad of “M” hops to achieve a supercharged succession of orange, tangerine, lemon, lime, spice and dankness. The undulating riffs of Motueka, Mosaic and Mandarina Bavaria hops slash through the wheat haze with equal footing, never playing over one another. The cacophony of flavor is what fans would expect with a name like Megawheat. So join us as we forge ahead on a path that directly leads to the main stage…and then off the front of it, into the crowd! If you feel the urge to smash the bottle afterward, don’t. That’s what guitars are for.
