A refreshing pale sour brewed with Lactobacillus using a base of 2-row, pilsner and wheat malts. Dry hopped with Motueka hops from New Zealand, this tart, medium-bodied beer is bursting with aromas and flavor of lime and stone fruits.
Brewed with pilsner, pale malt and corn flakes. Hopped with Styrian Goldings and Motueka. Dry-hopped with Motueka. Fermented with Ommegang’s house yeast.
Pours a pale straw color with a thick white head and lasting lacing. Bright aromas of lemon and lime open, with pleasant hints of nobel hop spice followed by Ommegang’s signature house yeast. Taking away the spices in Hennepin allows the Motueka hop flavors to take center stage. Distinctive notes of juicy citrus shine through, light on the tongue with pleasant spicy hop character, and a dry finish with restrained bitterness.
Mouette à Trois est la meilleure bière que vous avez jamais goûté ou notre nom n’est pas Karl Strauss. Mouette à Trois, meaning Three Seagulls, is the 3rd installment in our less than literal “Twelve Days” series of holiday ales. Brewed with fresh apricots, cherries and a blend of spices, the resulting strong ale is Belgian Dubbel meets fruit cake. Rich layers of candied fruit and warming spices are punctuated by notes of toffee and fresh-baked bread. Aging on brandy-cured French oak adds hints of vanilla that linger through a warming finish. Don’t. Even. Think. About. Regifting.
American Style India Pale Ale. We used an American base malt with an addition of Caramalt to give this, now classic style, a redish hue. An aggressive use of Columbus, a high alpha hop with a full flavor profile, Centennial and dry hopped with Amarillo , citrus hops with notes of orange and grapefruit. People’s IPA is a hoppy, yet smooth American twist on the English IPA.
With this beer we wanted to pay tribute to the barley farmers of Colorado, many of whom toil just an hour south of the brewery in the San Luis Valley, nestled underneath beautiful Mount Blanca. We decided to make a beer that was reminiscent of the 18th century Belgian farmhand’s drink of choice, and created Mount Blanca, a refreshingly classic Saison. Blanca is a new breed of beer for a new breed of farmer, and is made for those that appreciate the fact that locally grown and produced foods and beverages somehow always taste the best.
A strong complex rich malty wheat beer with notes of dark fruit, cinnamon, vanilla and spicy cloves which leaves you with a nice warm feeling when the weather outside is frightful.
Our imperial take on an American staple. We did not skimp on the hops for this medium bodied heavy weight. We start the hop countdown at 90 minutes with Zeus. Centennial and Simcoe are added for more bittering and much more flavor!
Mount remarkable is a crisp pale lager dry-hopped with Australian Helga hops. Floral, herbal, and complex, the Helga dry-hop gives Mount Remarkable a punchy, hop-forward aroma to balance a refreshingly easy-drinking body. We brewed Mount Remarkable for our 1st Anniversary Party back in July of 2014, and we liked it so much we decided to bottle it as a one-time special release. So enjoy! And you should come party at our 2nd Anniversary Party this July! It'll be rad.
This big and bitter, slightly smoky Rye IPA is lavish in complexity; a rich, dry, malty, hoppy, dark, dark, big, big, beer, made with a rare barley strain imported from Germany. Yum! Only available at Station Tap Room in the Mount Snow Base Lodge.
Brewed in the traditional German way this Weiss-bier is mild and fruity with delicate citrus and clove notes. Deep orange in color, the cloudiness is due to the unfiltered brewing method allowing the beer to hold on to its vitamins and minerals. This beer makes you strong! Only available at Station Tap Room in the Mount Snow Base Lodge.
It’s no secret that it gets pretty cold here in Colorado. So early on in the brewery’s history, our brewmasters wanted to create a beer that would do the trick on a snowy winter day. Today, we craft our winter wonder with roasted malts and dark. Belgian candi sugar for rich caramel and toffee notes. It’s perfect on those winter days when you’re stuck inside.
The Dortmunder-Export style of beer was developed in Westfalen, Germany, and is a classic light lager with great character. This style boasts a light golden blonde color and exhibits a moderate hop palate. The finish of our Mountain Lager is rich yet mellow.
Our brewers have developed this beer as a tribute to the Appalachian Mountains where we live and play.
Mountain Man, first brewed to celebrate the second anniversary of Nocturnem Drafthaus in Bangor, is an American Double India Pale Ale that an experienced beer drinker will love. Mountain Meadow is our Spring Seasonal Release Beer. It is a great introduction to spring with its light golden color and notes of honey and herbs. Made with sage, chamomile, tarragon, and honey, the wonderful fusion of these ingredients give this blonde ale a smooth, crisp, and refreshing flavor and a sweet floral aroma.
Our Mountain Shadow Black IPA transforms the traditional. The roasted barley malts utilized in stouts and porters provide a bold foundation and unique character. Magnum and Galena hops compliment the deeply roasted grain bill, resulting in an elegantly balanced Ale with toasted nut and hop-centric flavors.
As the Colorado hop growers prove they can produce world class hops, we as a Colorado Craft Brewer want to showcase what our state can offer, not only with our hand crafted beers, but also with the ingredients used in creating them. Mountain Standard, Double Black IPA, features the homegrown hops our Brewers helped pick from farms along Colorado’s western slope. MST pours committingly dark with a light tan head and a slightly roasted hoppy nose. An ephemeral bitterness, the result of combining roasted malts with an assertive American hop profile, contributes to MST’s act of balance and harmony. As the season’s darkness sets in, why shouldn’t your beer become darker too?
This is a Double Black IPA
Mourning Wood is an oak-aged coffee ale developed by the Local Option Bierwerker. Fresh American oak used during the aging process and Dark Matter’s El Salvador San Jose pulp-natural coffee aromatically drive the beer; while remaining subtle components of the beers’ complete flavor profile. This amber colored, medium-bodied, and extraordinarily well-balanced ale was first unveiled at the Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beers in November 2011. Mourning Wood’s taste is delicate and should be appreciated by beer drinkers of all palates.

Check them both out and get your MO’ growing!

A pleasantly sharp sweetness from the crystal malt precedes herbal notes of cedar and green tea. The bright hop flavors in this light copper ale are distinctly English to start, finishing with lingering aromas of earthy hops.
