Power of love is a truly unique pink colored Shandy created by blending Northwoods Gourmet Lemonade and a Wheat Ale brewed with raspberry and rosemary. Enticing sugary aromas intermix with appealing citrus and herb fragrances. Very sweet lemon flavors give way to a shock of tart raspberry before turning sharply dry, as if eating a piece of grapefruit. The finish is somewhat bitter and spicy, but quite satisfying.

Giant, monstrous, and hopped to perfection. You need to get yourself down here for a taste and more. Honestly I thought this beer was finished before it was even dry-hopped it was so ridiculously hoppy. And then we dry hopped it with way too many hops, twice.. er three times. Simcoe, Citra, Mosaic, Amarillo and friends. They play well together. Believe me.

Sunny, gold colored ale, made with North American Pale, Crystal and a small amount of Wheat Malts. Bittering done with Palisades hops and rounded out with Cascade hops for a pleasant, floral aroma. Named after the Historic Folsom Landmark built in 1895.

It's time to "man up" when you tackle this Imperial IPA! A powerful punch of hoppy aroma hits your nose. The use of Amarillo, Citra, Columbus and Simcoe hops creates a rich, deep golden color and imparts a slight hop haze. Named after our friends down this street, this IPA is lacking in alcohol but not flavor, with a lovely hop finish and mild body.

The great philosopher Pliny the Elder referred to the early blooming peach tree as Praecocia; years later these fruit were recognized not as peaches, but apricots. We took those apricots and added them to a bold, bourbon barrel aged old-ale. The beer, rich in flavors of burnt sugar and toffee, blends seamlessly with the musky, summer-like experience that the apricots supply.

Our interpretation of a Czech Bohemian Pilsener, inspired by a trip to the Czech Republic by our brewer. Brewed with authentic Bohemian Pilsener malt made from the heirloom Hanka barley varietal and imported Czech Saaz hops. This beer has a spicy herbal Saaz hops aroma that follows through to the hop enhanced flavor, backed up by smooth malt flavor and a dry finish.

Prairie Ale is our classic saison. We brew this beer with pilsner malt, wheat malt, flaked wheat, and cane sugar. A healthy dose of saaz hops are used to add a spicy element to the beer. Prairie Ale is fermented with a mix of ale yeast, wine yeast, and brettanomyces. Notes of black pepper and pineapple can be found in this beer.

Chase Healey, founder and brewmaster of Prairie Brewing, recently paid Off Color a visit to collaborate on a beer. Chase, Dave and John brewed a beer so dry some claimed they didn't use water. The resulting beer was a deliciously palatable Tettnanger dry hopped farmhouse ale fermented with Prairie's saison yeast and Off Color's lactobacillus colony.

Our seasonal Imperial IPA is a true beer nerds beer. A ton of 2-Row American grain helps us bring this in at 1.084 OG and ends up with at least 9.1% alcohol. The beer pours with a slightly orange color and with a proper amount of white head. The hops are the best part of the beer and a your nose can find Cascade, Centennial and Magnum. In the true nature of a Double IPA, the alcohol is a big part of the mouth feel. This is a full strength beer and goes to show that you CAN in fact catch lightning in a bottle.
