Craft brewing is all about celebrating tradition and heritage, and getting to have fun while doing so. Our amber ale is loaded up with melanoidin and caramel malts that make the brewery smell like a bakery at sunrise. That’s why we thought it would be fun to actually throw locally made pretzels right into the mash tun!

A light bodied, crisp beer with a wheaty bloom, finishes with a subtle hop flavor.

This rich black ale was aged in barrels along with roasted prickly pears. Rich flavors of oak and caramel malts are melded with a subtly sweet fruit note and a wisp of smoke.

The perfect hot weather beverage!! This radler is a 50-50 blend of our Kolsch and fruit soda to create a refreshing light and crisp drink. This pint pours a pale yellow color with a fading white head. Radler has a refreshing lemony or lime aroma with a nicely balanced light body with a tart finish.

Most brewers can tell you about that one homebrew recipe that inspired them to drop their day job and pursue brewing full-time. This is that beer. Originating in my garage, it started when my wife had a prickly pear margarita, loved the unique flavor and color of the cactus fruit, and challenged me to incorporate it into a beer. Over three years in the making, and after countless iterations (not to mention several requests from friends to brew more of it), I am proud to share with you this refreshing fruit beer. What happens when you decide to boldly take a beer where it's never gone before? You end up with 'BEAN Me Up Scotchy'! We brewed up a robust batch of our Scotch Strong Ale, transported it into a Bright Tank and energized it with freshly ground Kona and Sumatran coffee. The result is a big and malty ale with a dark copper color. Toffee and coffee flavors Cling-on your palate, with slight raisin, alcohol, and sweetness on the end. Make no bones about it, you will not need more power as this one comes in at about.

Our Pride & Joy is pale, crisp, very hoppy and aromatic. Robust hop flavors are layered over a balanced malty backbone. Initially soft to the palate, Pride & Joy builds to a generous, but clean bitterness. Flavors and aromas of mango, citrus, earthy pine, tropical fruit & blueberry.

If you could call a beer an “imperial bitter” with a straight face, that’s what this would be. But, despite the increasing prevalence of calling big, strong beers “imperial” whatever, an imperial bitter is an oxymoron, since a bitter’s low ABV is an essential part of its profile and this beer is 8.9%. Still, the range of English bitters is a good thing to think about while considering this unusual beer. Pride of Branthill incorporates all of the key characteristics of the English bitter family and tries to preserve the harmony between them while increasing their quantities. Like “regular” bitters, Pride is still about balance between malt and hops and the special ways in which these English ingredients fit together and play off of each other. Pride of Branthill is brewed with Maris Otter from Branthill Farm in Well-next-the-Sea, Norfolk, UK. We get this special, floor-malted barley through our friendship with the Maufe family, as the farmer's son lives around the corner from Magnolia Pub in the Haight.

Inspired by Phil's Grandmother, the Pride of Palisade is brewed with organic Ela Farm peaches, local honey, brettanomyces and Colorado-sourced barley and wheat. Available on draft, or in a 375 ml bottle to go.

An American IPA, Primal Instinct exhibits the best qualities of American-grown hops. We’ve blended five different malts to create a strong malt backbone and complemented them with five flavorful hop varieties, including hand-harvested Cascade hops grown in our very own hopyard. This blend imparts robust aromatic and tasting notes of tropical citrus and resiny pine.
