A hoppy Wheat Ale brewed in tribute to 2014 Charm City Folk & Bluegrass headliner & the finest Dobro picker in the land, Mr. Jerry Douglas. This light/medium bodied 5.2%abv golden wheat beer is generously hopped with Citra & Amarillo to deliver a nice bitterness and lend some floral & citrus hop character to the nose. There was a time when Punk IPA was the most bitter beer we brewed. In time, that mantle passed to Hardcore IPA and most recently Jack Hammer. But now the recuperative powers of bitterness have a new hero. Restorative Beverage is back, and we have hopped it with four times the kettle hops than its previous release. We have proudly and deliberately skewed it into the furthest reaches of bitterness, as far from the balanced world of the everyday as it is possible to get.

American IPA/Rye Beer — Rye malt provides slight spice to this “hoppy” IPA. Keeping legal counsel on retainer means they will always be ready to act exclusively on behalf of the client. To make sure this ale delivers the best impression, we’ve used malted rye to provide a slightly spicy note to the malty center and to compliment the piney, citrusy and slightly bitter finish.
