Reticent Saison

This is our house saison made in the tradition of the farmhouses in Belgium. We ferment this ale in our open fermenation room to allow the saison yeast to create as much flavor as possible. Reticent is brewed with oats giving a silky mouthfeel, rye adding a slight spicy character and all noble hops making this an extremely authentic saison.

Retired Red's Ale

Red may be retired, but his ale is hard at work! The Retired Red’s Ale is malt-forward, with high levels of Caracrystal Wheat giving this American Amber intense red flavors and terrific toastiness, and Munich Malt infusing the brew with residual sweetness. Cascade and Columbus hops provide low to moderate hop levels in this classic craft concoction. This beer looks as good as it tastes, and it looks pretty darn good. IBU: 29. Tastiness Level: Working hard so you don’t have to.

Retro IPA

This American India Pale Ale (IPA) is a nod to the classic American hops Cascade and Centennial which helped fuel the craft brewing industry growth during the 1980's. Built on a gentle yet noticeable base of American 2 row malt, plus small amounts of Munich and Carapils malts, this IPA builds slowly from a soft, citrus fruit nose to a flavorful, orange/grapefruit dry finish. With so many new hop varieties available today which all produce excellent IPA's, we didn't want the classic hops to go forgotten.

Retro Rocket Ale

Retro Rocket Ale is proof big things can come in small packages. At just on 2.8% ABV it qualifies as a light beer, but is brewed to pack a big flavour punch. Brewed using the best British malts it carries a big, almost over the top hop flavour and aroma. Almost coppery red in colour. It is not a beer for the faint hearted - don't let the Rocket's ABV fool you! It is Australia's smallest IPA.

Reunion '10 - Belgian Style Scotch Ale

REUNION ‘10— Belgian-Style Scotch Ale. Terrapin Beer Co. and Taco Mac are once again participating in the Reunion: A Beer for Hope fund-raising campaign. The Campaign raises funds to support The Institute for Myeloma & Bone Cancer Research in the name of Virginia MacLean who succumbed to the disease in 2007. This year’s beer is a Belgian-Style Scotch Ale – a nod to Virginia’s Scottish heritage. The beer boasts a deep amber color with a rich malt palate and subdued hop notes in the finish. We used an authentic Belgian yeast strain for complexity. The beer will be available in 22oz bottles and will be features on draft at Taco Mac restaurants in Georgia later this summer.

Reunion Ale

Dark Ale Brewed with Cocoa Nibs, Vanilla and Cinnamon Collaboration with Shmaltz Brewing Company This year’s beer is a similar dark ale to the one we brewed for Reunion ’11. It’s brewed with cocoa nibs from our friends at Olive and Sinclair in Nashville, vanilla, and this year cinnamon. The flavor begins with complex malt overtones and quickly gives way to the chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla. Inspired by rich mugs of Mexican hot chocolate this is going to be especially good with BBQ, Mole and Churro…maybe from your favorite local food truck?

Reunion Ale

Teaming up with Schmaltz Brewing for the third time, Terrapin Beer co. returns for a fifth year as a production partner for Reunion '13. We brew Reunion each year in loving memory of our dear friend and partner in this venture - Virginia MacLean. Virginia lost her battle with Multiple Myeloma in 2007. It was her wish that we continue to raise funds and awareness on behalf of the Institute for Myeloma & Bone Cancer Research (www.imbcr.org). ~This year's beer is a dark ale brewed with cocoa nibs, vanilla, cinnamon and coffee. It was inspired by a fantastic desert that we used to share with Virginia at our favorite restaurant. The Brown ale leads with a bold coffee and subtle cinnamon aroma. Complex malt overtones quickly give way to a chocolate, coffee and vanilla mix of satisfying bliss. ~ Many thanks to all who have supported this project and have helped us honor Virginia’s memory. ~ Cheers - Pete & Alan

Reunion Ale A Beer For Hope

Reunion Ale '14 - A Beer for Hope is an Imperial Brown Ale brewed in collaboration with Terrapin Brewing Company of Athens, Georgia and Alan Shapiro, founder of SBS Imports. Reunion is brewed annually in memory of Virginia MacLean, a dedicated cancer research supporter who lost her own battle with Multiple Myeloma in 2007. She was a dear friend and co-worker of Alan Shapiro and Pete Slosberg's (creator of Pete's Wicked Ale.) The recipe, inspired by a favorite dessert she shared with Alan and Pete, is infused with toasted coconut, vanilla, cinnamon, coffee and cocoa nibs from Nashville, Tennessee's Olive and Sinclair Chocolate Company. Following its initial release in 2007, the Reunion project has raised more than $130,000 for the IMBCR through bottle and draft sales of Reunion®, retailer fundraising events, and private donations.

Revamp

Perfection is a combination of hard work and having the guts to change. It’s not always perfect the first time around and it takes determination to make every drop count. Revamp is an easy drinking American IPA that brings forward notes of tropical fruit flavor with a bright citrus aroma. The bitterness is more rounded than most, due to primarily late hop additions and dry hopping. Go ahead, enjoy your new go-to IPA.

Revelation Ale

Our flagship brew, born out of a comedy of errors. First, Rob added homegrown Cascade, Simcoe and Citra hops at precisely the wrong time. Then Norm went rogue and threw in a little unintended chocolate malt. Dark and rich, yet surprising light on your palate, this English-style IPA starts with the goodness of Maris Otter English barley and finishes citrusy with aromas of grapefruit. What you taste is not what you expect, and that’s what makes it such a great revelation.

Revelation Pale Ale

A full-flavored pale ale, golden orange in color with slight citrus notes. Light bodied for easy drinking. The nose brings a slight hint of orange blossom honey. The Story: This is our version of the perfect introduction to craft beer. It’s name comes from that moment in which you have a revelation that you will forever be a craft beer drinker. We have “saved” many friends and continue to lead people to the altar. Although it was designed for greenhorns, this pale ale has passes the muster for any beersnob! Enjoy!

Revelator Pale Ale

Revelator is a light, citrusy, dry-hopped Pale Ale that was made with the southern Fall in mind. Fall in the south is often more like an extension of summer, just with a different change of perspective. Revelator provides enough complexity and bitterness to welcome the coming colder months, while remaining balanced and multi-layered Aromatic and flavor profiles are largely contributed from an extremely generous Galaxy dry hop, which provides layers of passionfruit, peach, and other tropical fruits, while herbal and grassy notes provide a crisp backbone.
