DAVID AND ROBERT BOTH LOVE BOURBON. We mean love bourbon. Maybe that’s why they didn’t beat around the bush here. Sure, you can age subtly in bourbon barrels. And subtlety is sometimes enough. But, with the Anvil, the real spark ignited when we tossed nuance aside and added a healthy measure of our proprietary barrel-proof bourbon flavor. Suddenly, something intense, alive and memorable happened. To our palates, it offers a clean, lively, aromatic presence with a layered smoky finish. It’s truly integrated and rounded, yet vitally distinct. Enjoy.

Brewed with only Australian hops, The Aussie is an unfiltered pale ale with an intense aroma of citrus and tropical fruit that also carries over to the beers flavour. The hop character and bitterness is supported by a blend of Canadian, German and British malts.

Pours a deep amber color with golden pale fringe, medium bodied, perfect carbonation, full mouthfeel. Strong aromas of American hops, bright and slightly piney. Balanced malt presence accompanies the hop bitterness with subtle hints of rye spice.

Big yeasty nose with a large hop presence, a prominent carbonation presence reveals a rye spiciness which is extremely dry and interplays well with a strong hop character. Finish is dry and smooth with a lingering bitterness from the hops. Earthy and herbal with very well balanced rye notes.

An unquenchable yen for exploration and sensory trysts drives a never-ending array of hop varietals into our single-hop lager. Each time we brew this beer, we utilize a different hop—be it Old World, New World or experimental—in an effort to best understand and appreciate each varietal’s unique characteristics. New versions of The Bachelorette appear on our tap-list with great regularity. This is not our typical Bancreagie! Bancreagie Sour 26 was brewed smokier and heavier in an effort to handle eight months of barrel-aging. A hot, summer barrel rest with a noticeable dose of souring bacteria builds a unique, tart beer. Up front, tangy fruit reminiscent of apple, cherry and plum dominate, but then give way to vanilla, caramel, tobacco & sweet smoke.

True to the Irish heritage of this beer style we have used 40 pounds of unmalted, roasted barley in the grain bill. Roasted barley provides the nose and taste of dark roasted coffee, then this dark ale is lightly hopped with New York Willamette and British Kent Goldings varieties. You will bend over backwards enjoying the Barley Stone.

A spiced imperial winter ale with complexity in both aroma and taste, its warmth and savory soul could have given Washington's troops additional fortitude as they trudged their way from the marshes of northern Pennsylvania to Valley Forge and the winter that ensued. The Beast is a seducer – accomodating, complicated, powerful, dark and created to last the ages. With a deep burgundy color and aromas of honey, nutmeg, mandarin orange and pineapple, this massive and challenging brew has flavors akin to a beautiful Carribean rum. Dates, plums, raisins and molasses are dominant in a rich vinous texture. Cellarable for 10+ years. The Beast is the first installment of “The Demons of Ale” series.

An American Amber ale brewed with honey and a small amount of roasted barley to give it a "honey-roasted" character.

Our Dark Lager is brewed in the traditional Munich Dunkel style from Munich and Pilsner malts imported from Germany for a distinctive bready malt character. The beer pours deep brown with a dark ruby hue in light and a frothy tan head. The palate is dominated by malt flavours of doughy bread with supporting caramel undertones and Noble hop notes. It drinks with a light-medium body, medium carbonation and clean lager finish.

The Bees Made Honey in the Lion’s Skull is our bière de miel. Featuring two kinds of honey and open-fermented with a blend of saison strains. The perfect spring beer to help us welcome back the bees and the flowers.

Surprisingly malty session beer. You wont beleive how much flavor 3.4% abv can have. East Kent Golding’s round out the all Marris Otter malt profile. 100% UK malt, served in an imperial pint.
