Modeled after a classic Belgian pale ale, this beer starts out with a traditional toasty malt base and assertive hop presence. An evolution occurs during an extended period of aging with "wild" Brettanomyces yeasts that leaves the beer dry and funky with tropical fruit notes.
One of our most special releases yet, a blend of a number of our barrel-aged sour beers, including some barrels from our first ever sour brew nearly 4 years ago, and some from the first brew of Somerset Wild.
The Blend is an expression of what we do and why we do it. is is a celebration of our love a air with wild yeast, sour beers, slow maturation, barrel-ageing and blending.
We put a 10 year best before date on our bottles as the wild yeasts will continue to age this blend adding complexity and depth. Nobody knows what it will taste like in 10 years time or how long it will continue to age for after that so buy one to drink now and one to get dusty on your top shelf!
Spawned by the American light lager style, this cream ale was top fermented at cooler temps has fewer fruity esters, and neither malt nor hops prevail. A healthy dose of flaked rice lightens it’s body.
This beer is an IPA with a higher ABV and hoppy goodness. “Blue Train” is the name of an album produced by the iconic American jazz saxophonist and composer John Coltrane, released in 1957 on Blue Note Records. Just as John arranged his songs on this tremendous album, we infused the hoppy goodness into this delightful Double IPA. The beer recipes incorporates a blend of American and British malts with a small addition of Crystal Malt to give the beer its light copper color. The showcase in this beer is indeed the hops. We use a blend of CTZ, Citra, Amarillo and Simcoe. This is truly designed for the hop lover in mind! Cheers!

Starting as a taproom special, this brew was too popular not to bring back for the big time. Made from Cascade and Pacific Jade hops, Knockout is distinguished by a grapefruit aroma. And at 80 IBU, she has a bitter punch, but is balanced with a malty backbone. She’s definitely a knockout!
Oude Geuze Boon Black Label is the driest gueuze we've ever made. Combining a full-bodied taste with nearly 100% fermentation degree was a big challenge. This gueuze has a clear golden body with lively carbonation, balanced sourness and flavors of green apple and grapefruit. This is finished off with a long bone-dry aftertaste. The Lambics used for this blend have aged for 1, 2, and 3 years on oak casks. Brewed in Lembeek, the village that gave Lambic its name.
"PULP is what happens when we take our Pulp Free IPA and package it without any fining agents, leaving it turbid and creamy. High protein grains are used to guarantee not just body, but also that trademark haze we have come to enjoy from the beasts of the east. Using an isolated yeast strain from Vermont, this IPA obtains complimentary yeast esters of over-ripe peaches falling from the tree that pair perfectly with its hops. While none of our beers are ever filtered, the lack of fining in tank makes PULP an opaque monster, adding a nice juicy mouthfeel to the beer, making it stick to the palate more aggressively. Low bitterness and an over-the-top dry-hopping of Citra hops marry this newly formed style with our typical Fieldwork flavor prof
The Upside Down is an Imperial Experimental English Nut Brown Ale brewed with maple syrup and waffles inspired by the show "Stranger Things." Dark brown in color with a think white head and immaculate lacing, The Upside Down smells of maple syrup and nuts. At first sip, the taster is met with a wave of decadent maple syrup flavors that compliment the malty backbone of this brew. A light bitterness leaves ample room for flavors of biscuit, chocolate, and caramel. The beer is medium-bodied with a sweet and clean finish.
