The Exploited is a mocha stout, robust and sweet. It was in the 18th century that the name "stout" made its entry for good in the universe of beer. It would have been used to identify stronger, tastier and often drier porters. At that time, these fairly sweet, low-alcohol black beers were often consumed by the "carriers" of packages serving the station and the port of London. They were the longshoremen of the time. Operated by merchants and importers, they paid a lot, they worked hard and did not take a break to eat, preferring to drink quickly a pint or two of black and sweet beer and especially, the cheapest, hence its name beer Porters or, in English, bearers beer.
