OK, what do you get when we toss pale malted barley, pumpkin and spices into a stainless steel cauldron then stir in some magic? Uh, Trickster! The “magic” is actually mischievous Belgian yeast at play with allspice, ginger and black pepper. This spooky cool brew will make your glass glow bright despite the gloominess of the season. Designed to conjure up a little fun during the darkening days of autumn, Trickster is a frivolous concoction of earthy pumpkin, comforting malt, and lively spices. This makes Trickster the brew to accompany your post-winterizing duties, family fall dinners, ghost stories, U-boast-iT stories, and “supposedly haunted” garage parties. But the flavor range of Trickster also pairs well with citrusy and spicy cuisine. Try a glowing glass with your favorite dishes that incorporate nutmeg, cardamom or coriander—like Thai curries, Swedish meatballs, gingerbread, roasted pumpkin soup. Add Trickster to soups and sauces, batters and doughs, glasses and mugs.

Belgian style Tripel with German malt and Indian dark Jaggery.

Brewed in our 8.5BBL System, this dry, strong and hoppy beer includes Columbus, Nugget, Simcoe, Chinook, Azacca, Citra & Mosaic in the boil kettle followed by 2 dry hops, once with Simcoe & Citra and then again with Amarillo & Mosaic.

This witbier, meaning "white", is good for any occasion. With notes of orange peel, coriander, Belgian yeast, and wheat, this beer is sure to satisfy your thirst. Pours a slightly cloudy gold with a hue of orange and fluffy white head.

There are hundreds of Trappist Monasteries in the world, many of them make fruitcake. This beer is not made by Monks nor does it resemble fruitcake. Furthermore, Truckee has no Trappist Monastery and that, my friend, is why we at FiftyFifty bring you Trifecta. This is one of FiftyFifty's seasonal ales, and is a high alcohol Belgian style beer. Brewed with inspiration from Belgian Trappist Ales, Trifecta also includes locally grown Purple Sage Honey. With a complex spiciness tempered by the sweeter notes from the sage honey, flavors of spicy sage, alcohol, and mild malt sweetness are apparent, and sage and clove like aromas predominate. Coming in at over 8%, this beer is deceptively strong.

Hoppy flavor with a pine, floral and fruity characteristics. Slightly herbaceous flavor of dry hopping, moderate presence of caramel malt. There is a moderate fruitiness, both the esters and hop on.

The simplicity of Trillium’s grist of barley and wheat delivers a wonderfully complex yet still approachable beer. The house blend of farmhouse yeasts and Columbus and US Goldings hops drive a distinctive character in this rustic, unfiltered ale. A beautiful nose of spice and pepper, coupled with flavors of fermentation-derived fruit and more pepper. Firm bitterness, nicely carbonated with a dry finish, but there’s also a wonderful smoothness in the mouthfeel from the wheat.

Trilogy 1 uses a big charge of Crystal Hops at the end of fermentation for a pleasant dry-hop aroma and flavor. The presence of Rye malt gives this beer a slightly spicy malt character and the Munich malts add a soft yet definite mouthfeel.

Trilogy is the Brainchild of Students From Fermentation Science program at Oregon state University. Thier Collaberation with our Brewmaster created a session-style dry-hopped brown ale with nutty Charicteristics and piney hop notes.

Our Tripel is a delightful spin on the monastic tripel ale. Three different grains combine with three different hops to create a delightful balance of floral hops, lightly sweet malt, spice, and hints of citrus fruits. It is medium bodied with a lightly sweet finish and a hint of warmth. ​A zesty flavor rich ale.

The second collaboration between New Belgium Brewing and Elysian Brewing, Trip 2, is a deep, golden ale generously hopped with Magnum and the seldom-used Citra hop, which produces flavors of grapefruit, peach and passion fruit. Spiced with lemongrass and grains of paradise, Trip 2 is fermented with a Belgian yeast strain for a hop-forward ale and swirling fruit undertones. What's this Trip about? Described as an artisanal collaboration, New Belgium and Elysian have agreed to let their brewing teams use each other s brewhouses while remaining independent enterprises. By coming together, New Belgium and Elysian have the ability to increase efficiency, encourage creative experimentation, and take a bold collaborative step into the future of American craft brewing. The Trip beers will only be available on draft in the Northwest.

At the edge of the woods is an inviting aroma of baker's cocoa, brown sugar and coconut, while the forest's depths swell with smokiness. Breaking through the trees are beams of cedar spice, this complexity the result of blending a hearty Scotch ale with a barrel-aged imperial smoked porter. 80% Scotch Ale brewed with molasses and 20% Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Smoked Porter.

Inspired by Finnish Sahti, a traditional Rye Ale brewed with juniper. Trip IV is a hazy amber ale with a sturdy mouthfeel and a crisp, lively "Finnish". Trip IV is brewed with whole oats, pale, crystal and rye malts and it is bittered with Cascade hops. Finishing hops are Cascade and Amarillo. Juniper boughs are added to the mash and juniper berries, orange and lemon peel are pitched in the whirlpool creating a festive olfactory of citrus and juniper notes.

Trip V delivers the comfort of cocoa and vanilla with a bold cherry twist. Bolstered by chocolate and caramel malts, this beer pours dark, reddish brown. New Belgium Brewer Andrew Sturm decided to go big with all three spices but achieved balance through a moderate amount of bittering hops. The result is a satisfying blend of chocolate, cherry, and vanilla delivered on a sophisticated bed of hops and alcohol.

As if DRIPA wasn’t enough, we first brewed this Triple Rice IPA for our 2013 Summer Solstice Celebration. The larger grain bill and longer boil leads to a big malty character, yet the hops are still at the forefront, all sticky and citrusy. The finish lingers a bit longer than DRIPA, but is still clean and dry with just a bit of heat.

The golden color is misleading, causing the new tripel drinker to expect something subtle, if not downright benign, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Sweet, round and full of fruity esters from our distinctive Belgian-style yeast strain, Smuttynose Tripel is a perfect for sipping but also highly versatile at the table, pairing well with anything from salads and fish, to richly spiced entrees.
